Unit quiz

On friday we took the quiz for this unit and I'm proud to announce that I'm more confident about this than I have been all year! Stay tuned for more good news to come :)

Molar Mass of Unknown Acid Lab

Yeaterday and today we have been running the molar mass of an unknown acid lab. It's actually been quite a fun lab to run and to experiment with the titration technique. 

Acetic Acid Lab

Yesterday and today my class has been conducting the Acetic Acid Lab. I will not be taking part due to the fact that I missed class yesterday for a school function and will be missing tomorrow because I will be in Chicago for hockey. They are going to be finding the unknown concentration of Acetic Acid in vinegar. It did seem like a fun lab to participate in but I did not find that it would be a good idea considering I will be missing 2 of the 3 days of the lab and my would-be partner missed the first day as well.

Acid Base Lecture

Today we took notes and learned about different Acid Base conversions. If I'm being honest, the ICE method is the most difficult type of problem I've ever had to solve. I won't begin to try to explain them because no one deserves to have this issue in their life.
